The year is half over and it is very hot. The Fourth of July weekend went very well.
The auction was a success again and the money will go to more improvements to the club. Thank you to everyone that participated.
A big thanks to the volunteers who helped put on the show. Come out and enjoy the rest of the year as we still have a lot more activities.
Get Ready for Summer…
We want to thank members for the donations received to finish the manager’s cabin. Our latest donation- Paul Fehrer, owner of United States Inc. in Yakima for donating the powder coating on both the cabin railing and the railing between clubhouse and boat launch. Big thanks to Doug Fehrer and Paul for the railing for cabin and adjacent stairs leading to parking lot.
4th of July Annual Auction- donations are needed for both the Silent and Live Auction. Items can be dropped off at Thomsen’s at Lot 8. Cash donations can be combined to purchase items for the Live Auction.
Spring is here!
Spring is here. April is just around the corner and we are planning a great season. Our next meeting will be April 11th @ 10:00 a.m. at the club. Rick Pierce will hold a Villa meeting right after. This will be followed with hot dogs and hamburgers. The wine tour begins at 1:00. The manager’s cabin is almost done. It is something to be proud of. I again wish to thank all the volunteers and donations that it took to be where we are today.

What would we do without our volunteers? We currently have old guys (ranging from 55 to over 70) doing the work on the cabin. Thank you! Rumor has it that Doug Fehrer and his dad have something planned for the cabin. Boyd Rayfield has agreed to work on the concrete around the cabin and stairs to the parking lot. Help is always appreciated. The cabin is proceeding nicely with the sheetrock in and the tape and testuring being completed.
We had a good turnout for the meeting. There was hot dogs and hamburgers after the meeting, I think everyone had a good time. It was decided to have the March meeting at the Club. The meeting will be March 14th @ 10:00 a.m.
